Hi Doctor My Wife Has Got Red Marks On Her

Question: Hi doctor my wife has got red marks on her legs . please see the attached images it has come for the last 3 months and she is not having any pain or problems due to this. today she noticed that similar kind of marks appeared on her stomach also. could you please suggest what this is and what can be the reason and any home remedy or something we can do at home.is it normal thanks

They seem like stretch marks i.e striae. I request you to kindly upload a few more images for a better assessment. Striae can happen due to body weight changes or due to certain medications like steroids

Stretch marks are difficult to erase. They would gradually improve and become less noticeable as the redness lessens with time and they would appear skin coloured in later stages. I suggest her to use a moisturizer e.g olive oil over the affected areas.
