Question: Hi doctor on 10th XXXXXXX 20 i had fallen from my bike skit had an injury on my foot. For about a week till 17th XXXXXXX i used to clean the wound with betadine. But still the wound is not recovered On 19th i met a general surg. Who has seen the wound and prescribed T BACT OINTMENT and Tab CLAVAM 625MG BID TWICE daily. Im using this from 19th only 50 % of wound is recovered i feel how much time does it take to the wound to clear. And alao since today morning iam feling Acidity in my stomach burning sensation in stomach and cheat some times. I feel it is due to Tab clavam. Tomorow will be last day of my course. Can i take stop taking second dose and take only one timw a day. Can you please help me in fast recovery and also with gastric prblm.

Hi
I saw the pictures.

The Wound is healing. There is no evidence of infection.
There is no need for Oral Antibiotic now. You can stop Clavum. T BACT contains antibiotics.
If the wound is Big, Skin grafting can be done for faster healing.

As your wound is small and there is no evidence of infection,Skin will get covered from the edges. But, it will take up to 3 weeks nearly for complete healing.

If you want it faster, please consult a Plastic Surgeon and proceed further.

For Gastritis, I prescribe Tablet containing Rabeprazole 20mg to my patients

Dr today morning and now i have taken my 4th day dose of tab clavam. Can i stop from tomorrow
And if i get gastric pain can i chew Gelusil chewable... at night

Dr hello. Dr is cleaning the wound with Betadine or iodine ointment better and apply Tbact oint.

What about during bath the foot gets wet water falls on wound is it a problem for recovery. When will the wound get dry. Still looking little wet like inside . Alrwady two weeks over dr.

It will heal as there is no evidence of infection.
T BACT contains Mupirocin which acts on many Bacteria.
Though water falls on the wound, you can dry it immediately and apply Ointment.
It may take another 3 Weeks for complete healing.
Nothing to worry.
