Brief Answer:
? folliculitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
This could just be a folliculitis lesion as you said that its painful. Usually such lesions increase in size and form a pustule or pus filled bleb. This can be controlled and taken care of with a short course of antibiotics. Also apply and use alkaline vaginal wash especially during your menstrual days to avoid secondary infection. However, it would be best if you can attach a picture of the lesion for an opinion,
