
Hi, I Got My Cholecystectomy Few Days On 28th Of

Question: Hi, i got my cholecystectomy few days on 28th of Sept...and i soon went back on my routine diet.. i ate outside one day and eversince i am having pain on right side just under the rib and i feel the pain the most when i take a deep breathe or cough or lay on bed...please sùggest
Also, please suggest the diwt that i should be taking. And can i eat non vegetarian diet too?

There are three possibilities -
1. Muscle pain since deep breath and cough worsens the pain
2. Pleurisy - for the same reason mentioned above
3. Peptic ulcer disease - just taking only the location in to consideration
Chest xray may be done.
Take Ultracet twice a day till relief.
Take Pantoprazole 40 mg once day before food till relief.
Yes, you can take non vegetarian diet.

Hi, please find the x-ray. Thus was done on 27th sept a day before my gallstone surgery.is this is sufficient or shall i go for another chest xray?

If there is worsening of cough, then you can repeat the xray. Otherwise no need.
You can take the medications I have mentioned in my previous post and look for relief.
