I have no symptoms, nothing on my mouth or genitals I checked everywhere and I even went to the Dermatolagist yesterday and he didnt see anything on my mouth, I just want to know how bad can this affect my life and what to do?

Herpes simplex virus is a sexually transmitted disease...since you've already taken the test, it is recommended that your girl friend should take the test as well to see if she got the infection or not.

Herpes simplex is transmitted mostly through open sores either by kissing or by intercourse , however, it is possible that the infection is transmitted even in absence of sores.
