Question: Hi, i was traveling yesterday from XXXXXXX to NYC - i have seemed to develop a strange rash on my lower calves. i was doing yardwork the other day and not sure if maybe i brushed up against something or maybe i am having a dlight reaction to something i ate yesterday after traveling. My Edema flares up in heat and when im traveling but i dont think this had anything to do with that. please see attached photos. The rash is only on my calves, i have no fever and it doesnt really itch - just a bit swollen.

Brief Answer:
Eczematous rash, cortisone cream, antihistaminic

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be an eczematous rash.
I would recommend you avoid prolonged standing and strenuous activity.
Keep your legs elevated, apply cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily along with antihistaminic like tablet chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg once daily at bedtime for 7-10 days.
This should resolve it.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
