Thank you for joining again. Yes, you are right. Usually, culture test is done if dip stick test shows nothing. So, firstly dip test, if needed then go for culture. But, after assessing the patient and hearing his or her history, if doctor thinks it is essential to advise both dip stick and culture together for confirming the diagnosis, then the doctor can advise both.
Otherwise, firstly dip test is advised. If nothing is found, the culture will be advised.
