Brief Answer:
You may just stop taking it

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your concern. According to scientific research results, although some people have reported mild side effects after stopping saw palmetto, such as headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, the same happened to people who were taking placebo (sugar pill), suggesting that saw palmetto does not really have any side effects. So there is no need to taper the dose.

As for permanent side effects, despite some reports of impotence, research has not confirmed or proved this side effect to be true.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
