Hi, In The Past I Have Had Problems With IBS

Question: Hi, in the past I have had problems with IBS symptoms, spasms in the colon, constipation. Sometimes it appears that the bowel does not empty properly and a build up occurs which then seems to cause cramps, spasms, with nausea, actual vomiting, sweating and chills as the bowel tries to empty itself. (These cramps have been happening sporadically only over the last 8 months or so.) This does not happen every time, but I am wondering if the cramps could be caused by certain foods like coffee or dairy products, or is it to do with bowel function? There is no bleeding or blood present when passing stools. Thank you. Olive XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Need few details sir.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query,
In the very first line you have written you have IBS.
However I would like to tell you that IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion which means that all possible tests are ok but patient is a symptomatic word IBS is used.
Before giving a valid suggestion I would like to know the test in detail done by doctor on you and medication tried and for how long.
Waiting!
