Question: Hi, is frenum procedure safe for 9 yes old kid? It’s not too big but still one of the front teeth is slightly coming out and away from the other front teeth.

Thanks for the query..

Well, Buccal frenectomy is mostly performed after the Canine teeth erupts so that it can be checked that frenum is causing gaps in teeth or not and if surgery is needed.

But if already the tooth is appearing to get off the alignment you should once consult an Orthodontist and get checked.

After clinical examination only you should proceed..
