It is premature ejaculation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

From the available description it appears that you are not satisfied with your timings of sex and it is known as premature ejaculation.

Premature ejaculation can be treated or controlled with the help of behavioural methods and various medications.

The behavioral techniques need to be practiced during sex and does not yield benefits from the first day.. it generally takes much time say one to three months. Your partner can also help you by participating in the behavioral intervention.
Techniques are:
1.     Squeeze technique
2.     Start- stop method
3.     Interruption technique
4. Kegel exercise

I often find the kegel exercise very useful in compare to other methods.

Premature ejaculation can be also be controlled with medications.

SSRI group of antidepressants cause delayed ejaculation as a side effect, and this side effect is used therapeutically in the treatment of premature ejaculation..these drugs are as following:
Tablet. Paroxetine
Tablet. Fluoxetine
Tablet. Sertraline

The effect often becomes evident in two to three weeks.

Another strategy is to take the medication one hour before sex such as dapoxetine.

I hope this answers you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for side reverting back to me.

Every medicine have one or another side effects and premature ejaculation medications are no exceptions. There are side effects with each medication but none of those side effects causes anything permanent problem.

In addition we need to understand that side effects are just side effects and not everyone of us experiences side effects.

I hope this helps you further.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
Follow up

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up.

Paroxetine is generally used after food on regular basis and the effects remains there round the clock. Most of the individuals require single dose on daily basis. However the effects becomes obvious after atleast one week of use.

Paroxetine causes delayed ejaculation as side effect due to its serotonergic properties and this same side effect is used for the treatment of premature ejaculation.

I hope this answers you further.
Thanks and regards.
