default
Posted on Sat, 15 Dec 2018
Question: Hi last night I hit my head on the corner of my kitchen Cabinet. It was kinda hard on accident I got a tiny bump that went away this morning. I woke up this morning so neasous. I don’t feel confused off balance or any other symptom. I also believe I might be pregnant or I suffer from bad anxiety. I hit my head 14 hours ago. I’m super paranoid that I will die from internal bleeding

Brief Answer:
Seems not a serious condition.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

Since you are pregnant nausea may be explained by that, but also may be related to concussion that is considered a minimal brain injury with no subsequent consequences.

Significant brain damage after head trauma is suspected in cases of loss of consciousness, vomitng, lethargy, neurological deficits, etc. and these signs are prominent within few hours following trauma.

In conclusion, I don't think yours is a serious condition.

If still in doubt, get examined clinically by your Doctor.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
