Hi, My Name Is XXXXXXX I'm An 18 Year Old
You need to see a neurologist and a psychologist
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the ask a doctor service.
I have gone carefully through your query. I need to ask you about the onset and duration of your symptoms. I presume that it is rather short (few months). If so, the possibility of autoimmune encephalitis (like anti NMDA receptor encephalitis) needs to be considered. Please see your neurologist and discuss this possibility. For confirmation, autoimmune encephalitis panel needs to be sent for from cerebrospinal fluid.
You definitely need to see a clinical psychologist and he/she would help you to find the roots of and to deal with the nightmares and disturbing thoughts.
Feel free to write back.
Regards

My neurologist ordered a spinal tap and a bunch of scans that day and didn't find anything unusual in any of the tests or scans.
I've talked to both my pediatrician and neurologist about a possible psychological disorder and both disagree that it could be that. (I've brought up the constant recurrent night terrors and how graphic they are. I've also been with the same pediatrician since I was born). However, I will definitely go to a psychologist if need be.
This has gotten worse over the past couple of years; I never brought anything up because I didn't realize that some of the stauff was unusual. (Fatigue, bad circulation, shortness of breath, etc.) As these are not things that immediately crossed my mind, it started to get more serious about two years ago when I started getting tired at random points in the day for no apparent reason. (I also have a Right Bundle Branch Block but that was also not found to be a problem except for occasional palpatations.) I've just been at a loss.

The possibility might not have been considered
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,
It could be possible that the test I am mentioning (spinal fluid specifically for Autoimmune Encephalitis work-up) has not been done and that your neurologist probably not have it in consideration that time. In the case of autoimmune encephalitis, all other tests are likely to be normal. Please discuss this with your neurologist.
Please consider that the need to see a psychologist is already there.
