Question: Hi my wife has pharangitis (a small heat boil inside mouth in near throat due to which hqving pain in right ear also. Consulted a doctor. Im attaching dr prescription. Yestday morning she staryed course dayly two times today morning she had.loose motions and stomach pain.. this stomach pain even now also shes complaining. Can i stop this tablets. Or is it due to This tablets..

HiI. As she having pharyngitis she needs to continue antibiotic, antiallergic tablet for at least 1 week. Continue betadine gargle. For stomach pain take panyoprazole to reduce the acid reflux and lactobacil tablet. This lactobacil tablet will help to maintain normal flora of the stomach and prevents infection of the stomach. If the pain still continues after 1 week you need to consult an Gastroenterology and get a gastroscopy done to rule any ulcers in the stomach or not. Drink plenty of water. Avoid excess tea, coffee. Avoid spicy food. If possible add yoghurt to your diet.
