Hi, Since December 2017 My Girlfriend Had Been Experiencing Multiple

Question: Hi, since December 2017 my girlfriend had been experiencing multiple personality disorder. She would first get a headache, she would then act blunt and slightly aggressive or protective and when I shown her pictures of her pets it went away, but she couldn't remember anything. This used to happen a few times per month. She said she wanted to be just friends for the time being in July, and since the beginning of August, I haven't seen any sign of this other personality. Also in July she had a period when she was constantly dizzy, but that could have been because she wasn't eating properly as after I made her start eating again it went away. If I bring up being in a relationship with her, she starts getting anxious and ignores me. What do you think this could be?
Brief Answer:
Needs evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
The symptoms you mention point the diagnosis towards MPD, but she needs to be evaluated with multiple sessions of counselling and an MRI to rule out any physical problem in the brain.
If not MPD, even Bipolar disorder can sometimes present this way.
Get her consulted with a Psychiatrist who can counsel her regularly and arrive at a diagnosis so he can start medication at the earliest.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
regards,
