Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for asking on Ask a doctor platform
I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
Usually a child starts walking without support by 15 months but this is not seen in all. Walking is considered delayed if child does not walk till 18 months of age.
Walking without support needs a coordination between neck, hand, leg and spine. I agree with your doctor that you should wait for some more time.
I have noticed that in prescription mild facial dysmorphism is mentioned. I have not seen the baby but I don't agree with mild facial dysmorphism. Facial dysmorphism is seen in some syndromes( a combination of abnormalities in body/skeletal system with delayed developmental milestones). He has also put question mark before mild developmental delay. May be your doctor has not found any specific abnormalities and due to some doubt has mentioned this term.In real there is no term like mild facial dysmorphism.
I would request you to help your baby in walking with or without support and I hope she will start walking within few weeks.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards

Hi
Thanks for follow up
You can attach the photo of your child so that I can check if any obvious features of dysmorphism is there.
Here I am explaining few exercises which will help to your baby walk
1) Assist walking by holding her hand and then move forward slowly so that baby will move her feet forward one after another. This will help in strengthening the hip/leg muscles and also improves coordination.
2) Make her sit on a stool keeping her back straight. Be careful to avoid any accidental fall. Put some toy or ball near the stool and encourage her to pick that after getting down from stool and then again to go back on stool.
3) Leave her sometime standing without support and let her try to move forward while you take care to avoid any fall.
4) Give her a ball to kick.
Repeat all this many a time daily. Repeating same activity will help her in early walking.
I hope this helps.

Sir please answer
Brief Answer:
Don't worry, try exercises and wait for some time

Hi
I can understand your concern. I agree that if standing without support is not there then she will not be able to walk independently. In such condition you have to help her to walk. Continue exercises as mentioned earlier. I hope this will help her in early walking.
I have seen the picture of baby. There are few facial features like prominent lower lips, long philtrum but as such this does not indicates any syndrome. Still I would recommend you to consult a geneticist for proper evaluation to rule out syndrome if any and to relieve your anxiety. There are geneticist in XXXXXXX like in XXXXXXX Hrudayalaya Bommasandra. You can see him.
Wishing for good health of your child
I shall be glad to help further if you need any.
