Question: Hi sir,
My son is 6 years old. Having UTI infection itaching and burning. Consult the doctor he has suggested urine and urine culture. After suggested taxim o.after couple months re occurred he suggested circumcision. April 24th circumcision was completed and same discharge.due to lock down period . Post circumcision 1 week took video call with dr is surgeon and urologist. Middle of the 2 week due to some blood on wound immediately rush to the doctor
He has advised wound is healthy apply the coconut oil.currently reaming wound is healthy but still edge point still in wet pink and redness.3rd week has been completed still in wet in edge point.
1 applying t bact ontiment. 2. Neurospon powder. 3. Sitting inthe warm water 10 to 15min twice day.
No using underware. While sleeping or he using steps frequently. Could you please suggest how to protect wound. Some time complain burring.six years boy. Please suggest

As per your description it seems like there is nothing much to worry and the wound is clean. There is nothing suggestive of wound infection.
The edge of the wound take little time to complete healing.
As of now you can apply neosporine powder after cleaning with soap and water. No need to cover the wound with bandage or dressing.

We have main worry. Currently not using any cover. Is there protection wear are avilllable?
How much time to take complete healin?.day time while urine no burning sessions? After wake while urine complain burning sessions. Could you please suggest me.

Hello,
I have gone through the photographs.
It seems like there is a small patch of slough at the tip. Generally it will fall of by itself. You can continue antibiotic creams. If that patch persists, it may have to scrape of by your surgeon.
It is better to leave the wound open for faster healing. You can wait for five to six days for complete healing.
If burning sensation persists, a urine culture has to be done to rule out UTI.

Thanks a ton for your time and suggestion.

Shall We use T-bact ointment.
Burning is not regular for 2-3 days only once at early morning only.
Need your suggestion especially for night hours. Some cloth or his knee something or other is touching while sleeping and light blood is reflecting in mid night or early hours of the day on his wound. could you please suggest me

T-bact can be applied.

Hello,
You can apply T-bact or any other local antibiotics after cleaning with soap and water. You have to clean the area minimum twice a day with water and mild soaps before applying ointment.
You can cover the area with clean cotton sheet, no need to apply bandage or dressings.
Burning can be UTI or may be due to wound itself. Ask him to drink plenty of water. A urine routine and culture can be done.
