Brief Answer:
CT scan shows hydrocephalus.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted the clinical details and CT scan findings.

The CT scan shows hydrocephalus- excess water in the brain, which is putting abnormal pressure over the brain tissue.

Firstly, a surgery needs to be done, called as VP (ventriculo-peritoneal) shunt, which diverts extra water from brain to abdominal spaces. The water from brain (CSF) collected during VP shunt surgery should be sent for examination to rule out TB meningitis (infection).

Best wishes,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
