Hello sir, Thank you for your response. 1. it usually starts in every winter and reduce in summer 2. No itching 3.no fever 4. no history 5.weight: 14.5kgs, age: 3 yrs
Brief Answer:
Use a moisturising lotion
Detailed Answer:
Hell dear,
Thank you for the details given.
The image shows cracked soles- this is a chronic condition which can be a part of eczema or idiopathic(without a particular cause). It is common for the condition to worsen during winter.
The following measures will be helpful:
1. Regularly apply a moisturising lotion like CETAPHIL MOISTURISING LOTION. Apply after bathing and drying, at least twice daily
2. Along with this, also apply an antibiotic-steroid cream over the cracks until the wounds heals and pain subsides(FUCIBET CREAM)
3. Before sleeping, soak in lukewarm water for 10 minutes, mop dry and apply petroleum jelly and wear a cotton socks
4. For pain, you can give 5ml of PARACETAMOL 250mg suspension 2-3 times daily for initial 3 days
With these measures, we expect improvement in 1 week- will review then.
I hope this answer will help
