Hi Sir My Wife 7 Month Pregnant Now For 2nd

Can I know the chromosome there showing xxy and xyy is it right ....normally will have xx or xy ...which chromosome ours
NIPT Test report is normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and I think more information about genetic disorders will put your mind at ease. So I will address your query accordingly.
Normally there are two strands of DNA on a chromosome.
Single umbilical artery is sometimes associated with following genetic disorders:
Trisomy (three strands of DNA) of chromosome 21 also known as Downs syndrome
Monosomy (single strand) of X chromosome
Triploidy, meaning three strands of all chromosomes
XYY syndrome in which an extra Y strand is there alongwith normal XY strands.
Now the low risk in your baby's NIPT report means that all these genetic defects were not found. There is low risk of XXY or XYY combination. In simple language it means that this problem is not there in the sample provided.
Also in the NIPT report they have not determined whether it XX or XY as its against the law in XXXXXXX
If Ultrasound in third trimester also does not find any organ abnormalities, then there is no reason to worry.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Need to confirm the diagnosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
We need to first get her examined by gynecologist to confirm diagnosis. She may suggest a urine examination, culture and sensitivity to confirm the type of bacteria, if any. Then according to sensitivity report, antibiotic will be prescribed. Among antibiotics penicillins (e.g amoxicillin) and cephalosporins (e.g cephalexin) are considered safe during pregnancy.
