Hi So Gonna Try Making This Short. Back In July

At times it does hurt more than other times. It is also affecting my ability to eat. Yes I am capable of eating very very small portions without being sick but I am never able to eat more than my 2yr old. Oh and I forgot to mention that my bladder intestines and uterus are fused together with scar tissue. It's also becoming very painful having sex. I start bleeding everytime I have sex now, is that also normal givin my medical history? And can all this be treated by being on a liquid diet??? That doesn't make much since.
post operative adhesions involving multiple abdomen organs.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have read your query and here is my advise.
* As there is significant amount of pain with low appetite and other
supportive symptoms, post operative adhesions involving multiple organs
as intestine, liver, stomach, uterus and others are seemingly the cause.
Truly speaking there are variable number of cases where there is definite cure of this condition ( when diagnosed thoroughly ) and rest ones are kept on supportive care.
The type of care depends upon the underlying level of firbosis and scar tissue, involved organs and symptomatic severity.
My guidelines at present
- clear liquids and small amount of easily digestible food stuffs at intervals
will give intestine comfort for digestion and acceptability
- have to refrain from dairy fat, junk food, non veg if consuming
- regular exercises, walking in fresh air, YOGA
- meditations and deep breathing exercises help a lot over a period of time
- anti spasmodic as dicyclomine or drotaverine as and when required
through prescription of your doc
- avoiding constipation is very vital for best pain relief and prevention as well
and can take help of high fiber diet with bulk forming laxative
- stress control
- avoidance of smoking ( if active )
Over all , life style modifications and supportive care is most promising.
Further scope of laparoscopic adhesion removal or other measures need to be evaluated with CT scan or MRI reports, and if those are available with you kindly share during follow up conversation for better guidelines ahead.
Wish you great day.
Regards.
