Continue Levocetirizine, Lacto-Calamine lotion for skin
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history, seen the photos and understood the concerns.
I would advise you the following:
- Continue Levocetirizine once a day.
- Since there is a lot of edema, elevation of hand above heart level whenever possible (like today must be a off day and at home) in lying down position. This helps a lot to reduce the edema and symptoms.
- Take any anti-inflammatory medicine with painkiller properties whichever suits you in proper doses.
- Oral steroid helps for early and fast recovery but you need a valid prescription of your Doctor.
- The reaction is below skin and oral medicines will help you the best. Lactocalamine lotion may help to sooth skin. First apply a drop only and see if it suits the skin on the affected area.
- Take care.
