Hi There I Got A Routine Blood And Urine Test
Question: Hi there
I got a routine blood and urine test and there was microhematuria (4-10) instead of 0-3 as normal.
I know I need further tests, but I am just worried if it can be anything else not bladder cancer at all, as I am asymptomatic. Is this 100% a bladder cancer or it may not me?
I am just now 50 years old, nonsmoker and never worked with the chemicals that irritate liver and bladder.

Brief Answer:
Bladder cancer always presents with gross hematuria
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the report of your routine urine tests presence of 4-10 RBC in urine can be due to infection (UTI) but definitely not due to cancer of bladder as it always presents with hematuria (Frank blood in urine ).
I can state and assure you to be sure that you do not have bladder cancer.
Take antibiotics for couple of days and repeat routine urine analysis after a week .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Thank you. I did not have an infection when urine was taken, my blood was also ok, no problems whatsoever.
Today I did Ultrasound scan of the stomach. Everything was fine, including bladder as far as the ultrasound can see it.
You think I don't need a cystoscopy?
