Hi There, I Had Some Questions About Sexual Health: 1.)

I had some questions about sexual health:
1.) I sometimes use a device that's essentially TENS-therapy for prostate and below-the-waist stimulation (ie. penile). Are there any concerns with TENS-like devices causing cancer if used in these areas (especially the prostate), or is this type of electrical current generally considered tissue safe?
2.) Unrelated to the first question, throughout my life, I've had recurring bouts of prostatitis. Besides long-term antibiotics, are there any therapies recommended? Is it true that in general more ejaculations could potentially help with this? And is there established a link between recurring prostatitis and prostate cancer?
3.) Finally, if I did choose to go the antibiotic route, are there antibiotics that are NOT fluoroquinolones available to potentially treat it? (I'm not comfortable with those because of the possible increased aneurysm link linked to them as heart and blood vessel issues run in my family). Because of this COVID-19 situation, I'm trying not to go to a urologist about these symptoms.
Thank you!

Try trimethoprim
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
1) TENS is not dangerous
2) Ejaculation is helpful and there is no causal link between prostatitis and prostate cancer.
3) Try trimethoprim or amoxicillin(Available on prescription only)
I know it was a short answer, let me know if you need an elaboration.

Glad to hear TENS is safe and not something you're concerned about.
Also good to know that abstaining won't help and it's good to ejaculate.
I'll keep those meds in mind if this doesn't resolve without antibiotics until I can safely see a urologist in person. Thank you!
