Hi There, I’m Just Trying My Luck As An Orthopaedic
Thank you so much, I hope you can help, because I can’t keep living in pain day in day out
Mild flattening of the head of femur seen.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached MRI scan images. Although there is a series of many images, from the provided images, there can only be a limited evaluation. There is a mild flattening of the femoral head may be due to mild necrosis. This is not an emergency situation that needs an early appointment but can cause a chronic pain in the joint so as to cause the limping. Rest and avoiding all the painful activities can help. You can also take mild pain killers to relieve this pain.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.

Is this something that will ever go away? Or am I stuck with it? Will it get worse? What treatments are there?
It’s making it very difficult to walk even short distances and much harder at the moment as I have 2 kids to play around with, it’s making me feel so bad only being able to do limited things daily, I’ve even had several falls down my stairs as I also have weakness in that leg due my condition (functional neurological disorder) and twice landing on that leg also, am I going to make it worse because I have kids and can’t rest as much as I should?
Details below.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The painkillers will only provide a temporary relief. Taking proper rest will help in decreasing the further deterioration. Further treatment depends on the severity of the problem and its rate of progression. The high white blood cell count and neutrophil count is suggestive of an infection. This can be due to an infection in the hip joint also.
The flattening of the femur head is the initial stage and can reverse if the infection is properly controlled.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Mild joint effusion only.
Detailed Answer:
As per the report there is only a mild joint effusion that might be causing the inflammation. A radiologist is the best person the evaluate the MRI scan images. The indentation of femoral head may happen due to an artifact or angulation. It is good that there is no evidence of necrosis.
