Brief Answer:
You are not at risk and PEP is not required.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Dkgenomics,

Welcome to Ask a Specialist Service.

You had protected exposure with an unknown status partner and the condom was intact at the end of act then there is no question of any risk and there is no need of PEP because you are absolutely safe and free from HIV.

The white greasy stuff outside the condom might be smegma which usually occurs both in males and females. It is not any health problem so don't think much about it. If any further query is there feel free to ask me again.

Thank You

Dear Sir, thank you so much. I had burnt my finger skin 10 days before and healed as of now, picture attached. Although was careful but if its touched the after use condom then does your view change?
Secondly, i have checked by pouring water in condom but today in internet came to know pin hole in condom. Whethere its true or not? Ideally if condom have hole then it will break during sex, isnt it?
So i have started a dose tenofovir and lamivudine and took first dose. May i stop this?

Brief Answer:
My view does not change and you are safe.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Dkgenomics,

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

If the healed burnt finger came in contact with condom then also my view does not change and the condom was intact at the end of act then there is no need of PEP so I will not recommend to continue PEP unnecessarily.

The risk in your exposure is already not there so don't think excessively and allay the fear or anxiety related to HIV. Be relaxed, forget the episode and move on in life happily. If still any query is there you can ask me again any time.

Thank You
