Question: Hi,its been 2 months my wife had operation and gave birth to a baby girl.since then she is not drinking water or drunking very less amounts of water as it effects the tummy and can cause it to expand more than normal.please tell me when she can drink water like any other girl and will not effect her tummy as well?q

Well, since it's already been two months after the delivery, such concerns should be addressed in details along with a few relevant investigations (namely CBC LFT, KFT, Amylase, Lipase, RBS and USG whole abdomen)...

I'd suggest getting her checked up by a Gastroenterologist clinically for further evaluation as this kind of problems can be due to numerous reasons (from anywhere to any structural abnormality to post-surgical or even due to any other organic functional problems)...

Please note, suggesting some over the counter products can only prolong this further, so kindly get her checked up thoroughly by the Gastroenterologist and proceed further...
