Currently on Femara, Almighty tablets twice a day.
She was also treated for post operational pain in her hand by a neurologist till recently and was taking Eliwel 10mg half tablet everyday before she stopped the medication based on the suggestion by her oncologist.
But now she is complaining about lack of sleep and also some kind of radiating pain in her arm after she stopped taking this medicine.
She also seems to have some tension in her mind about the disease and few other factors which is also contributing to her sleeplessness. However, with Eliwel 10mg half tablet she used to sleep well. She does daily walking, yoga to keep her active and on healthy food as well. Kindly suggest what can be done for her sleep disorder which seems be a major problem now.

Brief Answer:
Eliwel may be continued
Detailed Answer:
Hi
There is no known interaction between letrozole and amitryptiline (ELIWEL). As it benefited her, it may be continued. You can reconfirm with her oncologist again.
If not, other anti-anxiety meds like alprazolam or lorazepam can help. Also non-pharmacologic methods like relaxation techniques, etc can help. She will need to see a counselor for that. Physiotherapy for radiating pain can help.
Hope this helps.
