How Accurate Are Blood Tests In Determining Peri Menopausal Stage?

I have had the peri blood test and it came back and said no I am not but I have 19 of the 34 other peri symptoms including no period for 16 months and then I got one out of the blue, triedness, lightneadness and headache. He put me on estrogen patches and progesterone pills but when the blood tests cam back negative he said I can't take the HRT anymore as giving the body estrogen when I still have some can increase the risk of breast and other cancers.
what I am asking you guys is one how reliable are the blood tests two can I still take the estrogen patches as they do seem to have made a bit of difference... if not what would you recommend I was on brevinor pill so a different pilll or natural medication lile Promensil or something else. three any other ideas to try its the dizziness I cant handle I have nearly blacked out a few times
Repeat the blood test.

Hello ma'am,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
I have gone through your history and in my opinion you are going through perimenopausal stage.
As perimenopausal is a stage before period hormonal changes started and initially there is excess of estrogen rather decrease level of estrogen ( that's why your hormonal test are normal) .
But one thing I want to know are you taking pills and you get your hormonal profile or you are off the pills?
These pills containing estrogen and progesterone both so are not harmful.
You can stop taking estrogen patch and start using promensil as it is natural and well tolerated drug.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more questions.
Please keep check on blood pressure and sugar level also.
Good luck.

In my opinion you can take combined oral contraceptive pills ,it may not increase the chances of cancer and maybe helpful in your symptoms also.

Yes, his opinion is right.
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am,
Yes, he is right, you can take combined pills but no estrogen patch ( due to excess estrogen in your body right now).
So you should follow his advice for the same.
Hope found useful.
Good luck.
