How Accurate Is STD Test Result At 33 Days?
About 14 weeks before I had unprotected sex with escort and that time I was sick and day after sex I start feeling more sick and my legs were sore about 4-5 weeks. And week after unprotected sex I got stomach pain. My symptoms were, feeling tired , sore body , sometimes body itch, itch in testicals about 2 weeks. I went to had my blood test after 33 days for HIV, gonorrhoea, chlmydia, Hep A, B and c. They all were negative and I had one more test in 8th weeks of unprotected for Hepatitis B ( antibody, surface antigen and core antigen tests) . It was also negative. Meanwhile I had test myself with oraquick hiv kit about 5-6 times in 3 months and last test I had done oraquick after 12 weeks and they all were also negative. (5 times ora swab test and one time fingerstick blood ora quick test).
Lately I developed pain in abdominal and after 2 months of symptoms my stool test was done and I had amoebasis (entamoeba histolytica).
I have few questions:
How accurate my STD test were about 33 days?
How accurate my hep B test at 8th weeks?
How accurate my all oraquick tests?
Do I need to retest for any other STD? If yes, which STD I should repeat and after how much time of my unprotected sex for 100% accurate results?
Were these symptoms were related to amoebasis?
I'm very worried about HIV, hepatitis and any other STD.

Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
It is good that all your STD related tests are negative.
So You can allay fears of
1.chlamydia , gonorrhea, as the tests are negative and you have no symptoms so far.
2.hepatitis A and C are not the usual mode of transmission and is also negative
3.these are accurate for 33 days and can allay fears
hepatitis B is also negative for antigen and antibody.HBS ag is first to be detected and is negative and even all other antibodies tests are negative after 8 weeks so you can relax on hepatitis B.
5.oral tests are sensitive to 92 % so repeated tests at different times increase the test sensitivity so you can allay fear of HIV antibodies in you at 3 months. But antibodies may take in some for 6 months to appear.
which is the HIV test you have undergone at 33 days.if it is P24 or PCR you can totally allay fears of HIV.
If not done then you may go fro test again later for HIV only.
The symptoms are not related to HIV and may be due to amoebiasis which is diagnosed anyway so you can take complete treatment for it.

Thanks for your answer
I some times get small pimple on my arms and they are very itchy. There is no pus in that. I usually get when I get sharp abdominal pain. And sometimes pain comes in my upper abdominal as well.
Is it something to worry?

itchy rashes: it is not clear about morphology.if you can send photos with details i will try to help you.it may be simple allergy or dryness or fungal etc.
