How Accurate Is Cipla Pregtest When Taken After One Week

It's too early to detect. Some more information.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
I welcome you to HCM virtual clinic.
I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
As you may be aware that, urine pregnancy test helps too detect presence of beta HCG hormone in the urine.
Presence of this hormone in urine indicates that the woman is pregnant.
For the test to be positive, the pregnancy should be of atleast 4 to 5 weeks gestation period.
That means, atleast on the expected date of period or a week thereafter.
7 days after ovulation, embryo has just arrived in the uterus and has not started to release Betis HCG hormone in the women's body.
So even if there is pregnancy, usual urine pregnancy tests will not able to detect pregnancy at such early duration.
I will suggest you to wait till the expected date of period and them you can get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy.
it will be helpful to guide you through your query, if you can let me know about your date of last menstrual period.
and the day or date of ovulation.
I hope this answer helps you.
Please feel free to communicate with me again.
Thanks.

Wait for withdrawal bleeding or periods.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
Thanks for appreciating the answer and reverting back to me.
I have gone through your reply.
As per your history, you has unprotected intercourse around the days of ovulation.
Emergency contraceptive pills are effective in most of the cases when used within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.
In your situation, I will suggest you to wait for the withdrawal bleeding or the expected date of period.
In case you happen to cross your date of expected period then please get morning's first of urine tested for pregnancy.
In case of any doubt blood beta HCG test and USG can be done.
please feel free to communicate with me again.
I hope this answer helps you.

Pills work by preventing implantation of pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
Thanks for appreciating the answer and reverting back to me.
As such, emergency contraceptive pills work efficiently and help to prevent pregnancy in most of the women if taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.
As per your doubt, even if conception has taken place before taking emergency contraceptive pills, the medicine in the pills works by making changes in the endometrial lining of the uterus unfavorable for implantation of the pregnancy, thus helps to prevent pregnancy.
I hope this answer helps you.
Please feel free to communicate with me again.
Thanks.
