How Are A Blister In The Palm, Burning Sensation And Swelling In The Hand Treated?

As detailed below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history, seen the pictures and understood the concerns.
It is nice to see that you have not opened the blister thereby it acting as a natural dressing and proper healing going on under the dead skin.
Since it is 2.5 weeks it is possible that the underlying skin has already healed well and once you remove the blister there may be healed skin underneath; although it may not be very strong. It take more time for healing of the skin of palms and soles due to different character of skin over these.
Hence I would advise you to continue the polysporin and gauze dressing for few more days and let us see the results. Please do not open the blister.
Surely elevating the hand above heart level whenever possible like while resting and sleeping helps in proper healing by reducing the swelling around it.
Also take an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
Multivitamins and minerals assist in good healing and strength.
I hope this answer helps you and answers your concerns.
Take care.
Do not worry.
Please give feedback and post fresh photos after few days.

Detailed Answer:
As the photos depict there is minimal edema and redness and happens in dependent area like hands and lower limbs.
This does not look infected as the swelling and redness would have been too much.
So as per the history and photos that you have provided there is no need of an antibiotic.

Ive uploaded some new pictures as of today.
i notice the upper and lower part of the blister seem to be healing and flattening, with better color. i can see some pink and white sections under the blister.
the grey and green middle part is still there and i cant see under that section. Should i be worried about that? It looks bad but what is it?
When do you think i can stop using the gauze and polysporin? or what should i do now in this stage.
thanks again
Not to worry. Most probably should have been healed now
Detailed Answer:
Thanks.
The middle part is actually a collection of serum. So does not seem to worry.
I hope once the scab falls off or is removed you will have a healed wound inside.
Gauze and polysporin is to save the blister.
I hope this answer helps you.
