Question: Symptoms : burning on both sides of abd/back that radiate to my groin area. Does not burn when I urinate.
Took 2 uristat pills and became flushed and hot and really didn’t help the burning.

Hx.
I have been taking about 2000mg of NSAIDs for about a week to help with lower back pain. I have since stopped as I felt like it may be causing said burning.

Brief Answer:
Still possible UTI or a nerve pain.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

What you are describing may be either a urinary tract pain or a nerve pain.
Urine infection does not always give burning sensation and if you have fever, then must probably you have an infection of the kidneys and you should go to the local doctor to confirm or rule this out as soon as possible. You may need antibiotics so doing a urine analyse would tell us a lot.

If the pain you have is with described as numbness, and related with movement and is relieved by Ibuprofen, then it may be a nerve pain. Ibuprofen does not cause the burning, but may cause a stomach ulcer which starts at the stomach area and may be radiated down in your abdomen.

My recommendation is that you drink plenty of water and consider first doing a urine analyse, as soon as possible. After having ruled out that, then the nerve pain just needs painkillers and time to settle down.

If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
