Brief Answer:
Ranitidine is not associated with lowering libido

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Ranitidine decreases stomach acid production. It is a safe drug and is not associated with lowering sexual drive/ libido. Though unexpected effects can occur with any medication in a minority.

The most common cause for a lower libido is psychological , related to stress , anxiety and disturbed sleep patterns.

An organic cause should be looked for. If not found then you can try the following, in consultation with your doctor.

Meditation and deep breathing exercises.
Regular 30 minutes daily aerobic exercise.
Consuming avocados and nuts.
Adding a zinc supplement.
Ginkgo biloba and yohimbine also help.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
