How Can I Have This Test Performed With My Cash And Bypass Kaiser?

Question: I am concerned that my 27 yo son may have KS. We have had concerns about his slow development his entire life. He has grown taller than any family member. He also had craniofacial involvement a cross bite with malocclusion and open bite which he was hospitalized at 21 yo for and it was surgically corrected. We have Kaiser insurance and although I have asked about genetic conditions they have never tested him. His gross motor and balance was altered since birth but we were told that it was unnecessary to test him because he did not have learning problems. He is struggling and has erectile issues which they say is stress. Unless he falls seriously ill they have no intention of ordering a test. I have the cash for a Karotype. How can I have this test performed with my cash and bypass Kaiser?
He has a full beard now but that started developing in his 20s. He otherwise has every symptoms of KS since the day he was born. Thank you for your thoughts around this.

Brief Answer:
Consultation
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I understand that they do not allow anything and most services are provided through their network which is either reluctant or have extra emphasis in cost cutting.
However for your son I feel you can approach any hospital in your city/nearby city for second opinion. The other hospitals look the problem very differently and will either order a test for your son or will explain why it is unnecessary to test. Most hospitals will be more than happy to assist you. I do not think you need any special instruction/ways to get tested.
I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
