How Can I Manage Consistent Discomfort In The Thyroid After Which I Started Taking Tirosint?
About Levothyroxine treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Levothyroxine (tirosint) is a medication used to substitute thyroid function when hypothyroidism is confirmed. If your TSH level has been high, you should take tirosint in order to keep normal hormonal balance in blood.
Usually, it does not have side effects and after starting treatment we usually expect these symptoms to get better not worse. You should be sure that tirosint is taken fasting, with empty stomach and for one hour is recommended not to eat or drink anything.
I would suggest to try to find any other cause for the symptoms you reported as they are not related to Levothyroxine.
Hope the information helps you.
