How Can I Manage General Weakness In The Legs Along With Unstable Shaking While Taking Amlodipine And Lisinopril?

Question: I am taking 5 mg Amlodipine and 40 mg Lisinopril for high BP. Am experiencing general weakness all over my body. Legs, arms shaky and weak. Could this be caused by these meds? BP is controlled.

After going through the medical details provided by you I understand your concern and would like to tell you that the anti hypertensives which you are taking are not know to cause these side effects which you are currently experiencing and also you are telling your blood pressure is fine.

It could be due to serum electrolyte derangements or thyroid dysfunction. I would like to suggest you to get the following tests done

1. Complete blood count
2. Serum electrolyte levels
3. Thyroid function test
4. Kidney function test
