How Can I Manage Weight Gain That Has Taken Place After Increasing My Thyroid Medicine Dosage?
Question: I have gained 10 pounds. I have maintained my weight for 30 years through watching calories and diet. I have so many clothes and not they are tight. I don't want to spend money on new clothes. Is there a pill I can take to take the 10 pounds off. I know some people take them.
Please advise. My thyroid medication has been increased to 1.25.. Put I put on the weight after the increase.

I have been on thyroid medication since 1995 I was diagnosed as hypothroid. Through the years my dosage has changed many times. I had been taking 1.12 for years. My new doctor reduced it to 100 in March. I went for blood work at the end of April, when the results came back she changed my dosage to 125. Do you think it is possible that I started to put on the weight when I was on the 1.00 for that month it could have caused that weight gain? XXXXXXX
