How Can I Prevent Burning Sensation In The Stomach Upon Waking Up?

Question: Hi,
Every morning when I wake up, I get my stomach burning, that goes off after I drink water. This is not heartburn or chestburn. The burning sensation comes directly from the stomach. Can you please advise what can I do to prevent this? Thanks.

Hi,
I drink peppermint in the morning and chamomile at night. Do you think this can help instead of omeprazole? Thanks a lot doctor.
The burning sensation only appears in the morning after waking up. It doesn't feel any other time of the day, even with empty stomach. Thanks.

Hi,
I have attached the position of the pain I feel at night if I press my abdomen by hand. Drinking milk on empty stomach also cause the pain on the same position. Although, the pain is only observable if I press. I also fart after pressing the position couple of times. Does the duodenal ulcer suggestion still sustains or does it look like something else?
Thank you doctor.

Brief Answer:
Something else.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I've seen the attached picture.
See, if the pain is related to pressing of the abdomen it can't be due to ulcers rather it sounds more like a sort of muscular spasm or spasms in any of the ligament of the gut area.
Just take an anti-inflammatory like Diclofenac and let me know how you feel.
Instead of Omeprazole, take Nexium (Esomeprazole) 40 mg once daily also...
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi, As you suggested earlier to take diclofenac for spasm, would diclofenac fix the issue of the spasm or is it for temporary pain relief? Thanks.
Brief Answer:
Follow up.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Diclofenac is an anti-inflammatory and not an antispasmodic so if you feel that pain is due to spasm then take Dicyclomine, otherwise for the pain, you can take diclofenac.
Hope I have answered your query.
