How Can A Bruise On The Upper Thigh After Injury Be Treated?

Question: I fell out of a golf cart 2 weeks ago. Impact was on my left upper thigh/hip. Not too painful after 24 hours but a nasty bruise the length of my thigh. Bruise is 90 % gone. No pain or loss of range of motion. I have big lump at the impact sight that is noticeable when I raise my leg. Doesn't seem to be getting smaller very quickly. Any suggestions. I have continued normal activities including walking bike riding and swimming with no pain associated.

Lump is raised above skin surface only when I bend my leg at the hip as if to sit down. I think I uploaded 2 photos. The lump is a 3:00 on both photos somewhat bisected by the line of my briefs. Skin color is almost back to normal as bruise has faded. Temp seems the same as surrounding skin. it seems to have become more noticeable in the last couple days. Until about 3 days ago I couldn't sleep on that side, now I can without any pain. I would guess that healing is taking place, my only concern was the lump that persists. Should I resume ice/heat, should I wrap it, should I just ignore it?
