Brief Answer:
organised hematoma

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the query.

I have gone through the question in detail.

If the pain is persistent from one year after the trauma and if the bone was not fractured, then it seems that the haematoma must have organised under the subcutaneous tissue .

Other possibility is a formation of neuroma at the trauma site.

I would advice you to get a MRI / high resolution usg of the painful part to find out the underlying reason of the pain.

If painkiller tablets are not helping then a local steroid injection shot can help reduce the pain.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to consult me anytime if you have any more doubts.

Thank you.

Kind regards.
