Brief Answer:
This is pyoderma or skin infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This is called pyoderma or skin infection which is very common in this age group in this season.
The most common organism is Streptococcus or staphylococcus. This will definitely require antibiotic therapy.
You need to use Amoxicillin clavulanate and for the local application, you need to use Mupirocin ointment.
If there is a fever you need to use Paracetamol for fever and pain.
The above antibiotics are prescription medicines and you will require a doctor's prescription for it.
Hope I have answered your query.
