Brief Answer:
Seek immediate medical attention.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
An excessive stretch can indeed lead to a tendon rupture. It could be partial or complete. Even in the case of partial rupture, the extent of involvement would determine whether the surgical intervention will be needed. I would, therefore, insist you to urgently consult a doctor. Based on the findings he could arrange for suitable interventions. Please do not ignore it as delay will only make the matters worse. Avoid Zumba class or gym till you see the doctor.
Hope I have answered your query.

Brief Answer:
Visit the urgent care.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I think that you should go to an urgent care physician. Just visit the ER. Ideally, it should be evaluated by a surgeon or a plastic surgeon. The ER doctor would be able to assess and tell you the present status and whether it requires urgent management. I do not suppose that waiting for two weeks would be wise.
