
How Can Back Pain After Injury Be Treated?

Question: We were getting back from a late night party when i had to suddenly brake! My wife got hit on her right side of the ribs and has developed swelling and is facing pain aswell ,there seems to be no other reason to worry at the moment!she was hit with the elbow support of the car?do we need to get any physical examination done?what could be the cause of swelling and pain?please sujjest the right treatment for the same?could the impact also effect other digestive organs?how can we be sure !!!

This type of trauma could cause blunt injuries to the colon or the intestines. This can cause such pain and swelling.
I'd suggest you to just get an ultrasound abdomen done in the first place. If the Radiologist finds any kind of injury to the abdominal organs, s/he may reconnect a CT scan then and there only.
The necessary treatment can only be initiated after knowing the cause in this scenario.

Hello sir!after waking up in the morning she is feeling much better .the pain is visibly reduced and the swelling is less!she feels there is no need for any test,can we wait or should we still go ahead?
