How Can Depression And Suicidal Thoughts In A Teenager With PDD Be Managed And Treated?
Question: My child is. Teenage boy going on 15. He has been diagnosed with pdd he is highly intelligent but is not motivated. Lately he’s been wanting to get high on pot. We caught him and now drug test him, so he found a drug that cannot be tested...... LSD he wants to try it. He currently is taking celexa for depression. He was been seen by both psychiatrist and psychotherapist, for almost a year now! Why does he want to get high ?
He threatens to commit suicide if doesn’t get his way. Is there a magic pill or procedure to help him?
