Brief Answer:
Will recover in 2 to 3 days.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
If she is having only fever best is to continue with tab. dolo 650 mg maximum 4 times a day. In case she has cold or cough she can take tab. sinarest once a day for 2 days.
Viral fever will recover on its own within 2 to 3 days. Don't worry about the baby, she will also receive the antibodies (immunity) through breast feeding so she will not be affected.
There are no remedies for speedy recovery. Sponging, anti-pyretic and plenty of fluids will help.
I hope this answered your query.

she is having cough as well..so you are suggesting to take both dolo and sinarest tablets?
Brief Answer:
Sinarest once a day, dolo 3 times a day.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Yes, she can take sinarest once a day, and dolo to a maximum of 3 times a day if she has already taken sinarest.
She can do steam inhalation and drink warm lemon juice with a tsp of honey for a week to reduce cough.

in case, if the mother is not able to give feeding...what is the alternative that you suggest?
Brief Answer:
Formula feeds.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If the mother is not able to feed the baby, formula feeds such as Nan Pro 1 can be given to the baby. Alternate between formula and breastfeed till the baby gets used to it.

Brief Answer:
It is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
It is not a side effect of dolo 650. Usually when babies sleeps well they have swollen eyelids and will subside on its own. You should be worried only if your baby is having redness, watering or any discharge from eyes.

Any suggestions that can be taken care
Brief Answer:
Do not worry. Continue breast feeding.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Do not worry. Keep feeding her breast milk. It can be normal too for babies to pass no stool to 3 to 5 times some days. We should wait unless she is having fever or more than 10 to 15 stools per day. Have you started on formula?
