Brief Answer:
please clearily mention duration of symptoms few days months or years.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your symptoms refer mostly to gastroenteritis (infection of bowels). - For the time being, I'd suggest to drink more water, take tasectan, probiotics to stop diarrhea and oral rehydration salts (O.R.S) for dehydration.
. I'd suggest, to do an abdominal ultrasound, fecal examination for ova/parasites, feces occult blood, leucocytes in feces, and complete blood profile.
Nothing to do with ice tea please mention duration of your symptoms if they are pff and on it can be irritable bowel disease also.I am concidering that symptoms are from few days. Please correct me if wrong.

dr. I do not have diarrahi just soft stools where do I get this med called tasectan? PRESCRIPTION? THANK YOU BETTY CASTRONUOVO
Brief Answer:
Its over the counter visit your nearest pharmacy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello my dear i can very well understand your suspicion,
See work of large intestine is to absorb water from the finally formed fecal material. If due to infection and inflammation of intestines this work is hampered partially it causes mucuos/semisolid/soft/unformed stools while if fully hapered this changes into loose stools.Hope you understood the physiology.
Its over the counter take one capsule every 6 hours.
If not available take imodium 2 mg one tablet every 8 hour.
You would be fine in 2-3days.Both are over the counter.
Hope you get well soon.
Regards!
