Brief Answer:

Cholesterol Profile is Borderline High

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Your cholesterol profile is Borderline high which can be managed with diet only.

Your triglycerides are in an acceptable range and HDL (which is good cholesterol) is pretty good. With some dietary and lifestyle modification deranged LDL will be well controlled.

Kindly follow the routine described below for the next 3 months and then repeat the cholesterol profile:

1. High Fiber diet/ DASH diet

2. No drinking/smoking

3. No junk

4. Daily Physical activity for 40 min

Make these changes and get a follow-up Lipid Profile after 3 months. Maintaining a good cholesterol profile keeps you away from coronary artery disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Hi sir,
thanks for the response. in the diet can i take coconut oil instead of sunflower oil? i heared coconut oil is gud for weight loss.
and also i have to mention that i am taking telma 20 for the last 7 months. and bp is normal. if i loose weight (over weighed around 20kgs) can i stop bp medicine in future with daily exercise? and having bp issue is the cholestrol level seems dangerous?

Just relax there is no danger to your health.
