Brief Answer:

Fissure or dryness of perianal skin.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, recurrent rectal itching suggests fissure or dryness or anal skin.

Kindly provide further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Is there any burning or pain, bleeding associated after the passing of stool?
2. Is there itching involving any other body parts?
3. Systemic illness as diabetes or others if any?

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

My skin is not dry. No sign of Hemorrhoids. I have no bleeding except after itching so badly. On the outer areas of skin near the crack there is welt like rash comes up after the itching. It’s like hives. I have itching so badly I can hardly stand it. I don’t know what else to do.

Also no pain when after or during passing of stool.

No itching of any other body parts.

Brief Answer:

Follow up.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

* After further clarification, I can suggest being suspicious for possible dermatitis or parasite infection.

* Guidelines at present

- Regular sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water added Epsom salt and lavender oil) 2 times a day.
- Try to manage regular, firm bowel movements.
- Wear loose, clean, cotton inner wears.

- Avoid irritants like soap, deodorant.
- Get prescription of antihistamine, necessary anti worms medications for
prophylaxis and antibiotic as per the clinical evaluation from your doctor.
- Continue coconut oil application 2 times a day.
- The addition of aloe vera gel application will also recover faster.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
