How Can Itchy Pimple-like Bumps On The Body Be Cured?
Question: Dear S/M , My daughter is 6.8 yrs old and from 3 - 4 days there are some pimple like bumps appeared on her various parts of body ( like neck, under arms etc). These bumps are itching a lot. Initially we thought it is due to some insect bite, but I feel it is something different. Can you please suggest what can be the cause of this or it is insect bite only. We tried applying soframycin and dettol but that is also not helping to subside them
Brief Answer:
Upload a few more good quality images and provide more information.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Some of the red bumps appear as if they are developing central vesicles/fluid filled.
Does she have a fever? Any other family members affected similarly?
This could be chicken pox.
I request you to kindly upload a few more good quality images of the affected areas so that I am able to confirm and guide you better.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dear Sir, Thanks a lot for the reply, She is not having any fever and nor any of us in the family are having such similar kind of problem. I am providing some more images of the affected areas.
Brief Answer:
Chickenpox.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I can see a lot of red, raised bumps on her back. Some of them having a fluid-filled center. Whereas the hands are feet are spared. It does look like varicella/chicken pox. Chickenpox affects mainly the trunk, chest and face and spares hands, feet and legs.
Hope I have answered your query.
